It's simply the greatest TV show that I have ever seen and I regret having seen the last episode, because I will never see it again for the first time...
The beauty of Six Feet Under is that is goes beyond the storyline within its own frame as a story. It affects the viewer personally, and honestly, I think it changes your perspective on life and makes you appreciate it. The show remembers you that people dies to make life important and that none of us know how long we've got. Which is why we have to make each day better.
I embed the last scene of the last episode which I consider as the most beautiful and heart-wrenching 9 minutes of television ever made. Pure perfection in writing, acting and filming. A heart-wrenching conclusion to a most humane story.
I think that every single human being will cry (as I did... yeah I fucking cried :)) when he see this (of course, after watching the whole episodes) because it reminds us of our own mortality. We remember that everyone we see and we know will expire in some way. There will be good times like weddings and birthdays, but always the inexorable death punctuating periods of our lives. Six Feet Under reminds us of that and that is why we get so emotional for these characters we know and for the people in our lives we will no doubt lose.
None will create a dialogue between life and death so perfectly any more. Thanks to everyone who contributed to create this masterpiece.
